The Andorran Banking Association (Andorran Banking) represents the interests of the Principality’s banks and promotes the prestige, development and competitiveness of the sector in Andorra and internationally. These objectives are set out in its bylaws, governed by the Associations Act.

Founded in 1960, it was not until the year 1993 that the Andorran Banking Association (Andorran Banking) was recognised by decree of the Government of Andorra as a “professional non-profit association under Andorran law founded for an indefinite period of time with its own legal status, independent of that of its members”.

The territorial scope of the Association is the Principality of Andorra, although it has the power to deal with foreign banks, organisations and professional associations.

Andorran Banking is also a member of the Andorra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS), the Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) and the European Bank Federation (EBF).
